Our dream of adding a second level to our home came true thanks to the amazing team at Marcon Construction. Over the course of about 18 months, Marcon took us from our first meeting all the way through to completing our addition, and we couldn't be happier with the result.
From the very beginning, Dave did a great job helping us with ideas, planning, and clear cost estimates that gave us confidence moving forward. Rick and Joel were always available to answer questions and guide us through the entire process, from the early planning stages right through the build.
All of the trades that worked on our home were extremely skilled, professional, and friendly. Having people in your home every day for months is a big part of any renovation, but everyone we worked with was respectful and great to have around.
A special thank you to Kevin, Murray, Rico, and Devin, who worked through some of the hottest days of the summer to get our roof on. Their hard work and dedication really stood out.

Marcon has recently completed a 2 story extension on our home in Burlington. We chose to work with them based on long-time presence working in this community and strong word of mouth referrals. Rick and Joel were absolutely fantastic to work with. We really appreciated ease of communication with the team, and transparency of the overall process. The whole Marcon crew who worked on our site was friendly, professional and clearly very skilled in their work. Likewise, any additional sub-trades that came to the house operated with the same level of professionalism. Marcon took our vision and worked with us every step of the way to create a new space that has truly elevated our home inside and out. Marcon Handled the entire project.  They followed the Architectural  design.  They coordinated all the sub contractors and trades and kept the project moving.  The sub contractors and trades all did a good job.
Marcon coordinated inspections etc.  and final inspection to close building permit
Overall Project was pretty close to budget.  There was no drama involved like the Reno TV shows have.   The project always moved forward.
Marcon made sure things were tarped up and sealed in the beginning of the project when the old roof was opened up.  There was no water damage and sometimes it was windy and rainy.
There was never any mess around.  Generally kept things cleaned up
I would recommend Marcon for any such project.

Excellent work - on budget and within estimated time frames  - Marcon was responsive and provided good solutions to unforeseen hurdles..  Easy to work with and would recommend for future projects.

We have used Marcon se real times over the years and they have always been thorough and professional. We started with a small extension to the kitchen but later did a full renovation on the main floor of our house. Communication was great, the people working on site (both Marcon people and subcontractors) were very capable and conscientious. The whole job went very smoothly. A few years later we had some small outside jobs like replacing some side fencing. These were relatively small but Marcon happily helped out due to our long term relationship. That was appreciated. We recently hired Marcon Construction to build a single-car garage and add a second floor to our bungalow, and we couldn't be happier with the results.

From the start, Davey was incredibly thorough with the quote and competitive. He took the time to explain the building codes and the entire process, while also being very open to the personal touches we wanted to add. While we already had our permits, we learned that Marcon can actually handle the entire municipal permitting process for you which is a huge plus, as navigating that on your own can be a real headache.

The daily site crew; Murray, Devin, and Richard were amazing. They have a wealth of knowledge and a great attitude. Since I work from home, I especially appreciated how accommodating they were and how they consistently kept a clean and organized job site. When it came time for the demo and framing of the second floor, Kevin and Rico came to help, and it was impressive to see how quickly and efficiently the walls and roof trusses went up.

The project management was just as seamless. Rick and Joel are fantastic project managers and schedulers; they kept us updated constantly and ensured the crew always had exactly what they needed to keep the momentum going.

What we appreciated most was the integrity of the team. We decided to make a few layout changes mid-project, and the extras were very reasonably priced. We never felt pressured to add on costs, and it was clear that their priority was making sure the job was done right.

Marcon is well-known in the Burlington area, but they also serve Hamilton, Oakville, Milton, and St. Catharines. In fact, our neighbour was so impressed by their work that they’ve already hired them for a kitchen remodel! Another neighbour used them for a back addition 20 years ago.
