BASEMENT RENOVATIONS
Stop Losing an Entire Floor of Your Home to Storage Boxes.
An unfinished basement is square footage you’re paying for but never using. A basement renovation changes how much living space your home actually gives you — a family room, a guest suite, a home office, or all three.

FAQ
Questions, Answered Honestly.
How long does a basement renovation take?
A standard basement finish typically runs four to eight weeks on site, depending on scope, plus design and permit time. More complex basements, resizing windows for egress, or major waterproofing work can add one to four weeks.
What if my basement has moisture issues?
We design our basement renovations to stand the test of time. If moisture issues exist, we will talk through remedial and preventative strategies with you before any framing or drywall goes up.
Do I need a permit to finish my basement?
In almost all cases, yes — especially for bedrooms, bathrooms, or egress windows. Marcon handles the full permit process with the City of Burlington and Halton Region, so you don’t have to.
