The Marcon Standard
What You Get When You Hire Marcon. In Writing.
“Trust us” is what every contractor says. Here is what we promise — and what we hold ourselves to, project after project.
Fixed-Price Contracts
Most contractors give you a range. We give you a price. Once your scope is set, the number you sign is the number you pay — protected from material-cost swings, with documented change orders if scope shifts at your request.
Stay in Your Home
In most cases you don’t need to move out. We phase work to keep your main floor liveable and seal off active zones for dust. If your kitchen is part of the project, a temporary kitchen can often be set up elsewhere in the home.
We Treat Your Home Like Our Own
Floor protection through traffic zones, dust-sealed work areas, surfaces wiped down each day, and a tidy site every morning.
We Handle the Permits
Every municipality has its own permitting process, and we’ve spent three decades working through them, from the City of Burlington to Halton Region and beyond. Every application, revision, and inspection is handled by us.
Five-Year Workmanship Warranty
Most contractors offer one year. Marcon offers five. If something we built isn’t right, we come back and make it right.
One Point of Contact
One project manager — whose name you’ll know, whose number you’ll have — owns the schedule, the quality, and the communication. Every day of the build.
Documented Change Orders
When unexpected discoveries come up, we document them in writing, present options with costs, and only proceed when you approve. No surprise invoices. Ever.
The First Estimate Is Free
A real conversation in your home, an honest read on what’s possible, and a transparent first number. No commitment. No sales pitch.
Why We Hold to This
Because Trust Is Earned, Not Claimed.
Marcon’s purpose has always been the same: build dreams and relationships with excellence, to honour God’s glory. The standards on this page are how that purpose shows up in practice — and the reason families come back to us.
